Summer Cash Splash, Spin to Win Full Contest Rules. Chance to win a $100 local gift card from Valley Credit Union Inc. (“sponsor”). By participating in the contest, each entrant agrees and is bound by these contest rules and all decisions by the sponsor.  

Contest Period: June 1, 2024, begins at 9:01 AST and on August 31, 2024, at 4:01 PM AST. The chances of winning are based on the total number of entries.

The Prize: There are thirteen (13) prizes to be won, each consisting of a pre-purchased local gift card in the amount of $100.00. All amounts are in Canadian Dollars. No cash value. The gift card must be accepted as awarded. The Sponsor reserves the right to select which local business to purchase the gift card from and the business could be located anywhere in the Annapolis Valley, Nova Scotia. The sponsor will do their best to provide a prize that is in the proximity of the contest winner, however, can not be held responsible for any travel or extra expenses that may be incurred for the winner to claim/pick-up or redeem/spend the gift card.

Bonus Prizes: Starting the week of July 1, 2024, Stingray Media Solutions (DBA Rewind 89.3 FM) will be offering bonus prizing. By entering the contest, you are agreeing to share your email with the contest partner for bonus prizing

How to Enter: No purchase necessary. Online entry and registration. To be eligible to obtain one (1) entry, you must visit the contest website: valleycreditunion.com/home/inourcommunity/contest and must agree to the terms and registration details in full. When you complete the online form you will receive one (1) ballot entry into the contest. All entries received during the contest period are valid. There is a limit of one (1) entry per person. If you are not selected as a prize winner, your ballot will remain for the duration of the contest period. If you are selected as a winner, your ballot will be removed and you will not have another chance to win during the contest period.

By Mail: If you do not want to enter online, you can print your full name, mailing address, email, phone number, and sign a plain piece of paper and mail it to the Sponsor at: Valley Credit Union 5682 Hwy 1, Waterville Nova Scotia B0P 1V0 attention to: Summer Cash Splash Contest. The sponsor is not responsible for lost or stolen mail and all submissions must be received during the contest period.

Prize Draws: There will be multiple draws during the contest period. The draw dates are as follows:

Selected entrants will be notified by the email address provided. To be declared a winner, selected entrants must respond to the notification within two (2) business days, answer a skill testing question, and sign a release form. The Sponsor will then have thirty (30) business days to deliver the prize.

The sponsor reserves the right to void, terminate, suspend, modify, or change this contest, in whole or in part, at any time and without notice. If, at its sole discretion, the Sponsor finds any individual or account attempting to tamper with the entry process, in any way, the Sponsor can disqualify the entrant.

Privacy: Your personal information will only be used for the purpose of administering the contest as outlined and prize fulfillment. By entering the contest and accepting the prize, you agree for the Sponsor to use your name or likeness, place of residence, and picture in statements, testimonials, or other public places for publicity or advertising. This contest is open to residence of Nova Scotia, Canada and you must be of legal age.
