It can be used by anyone who has and email address, a bank account at a Canadian credit union or bank and who is registered to use online or mobile banking. Do more with Interac e-Transfer, explore now >
Registration is free and simple! Log in to online banking and navigate to the Transfer menu item. Click Edit Sender Profile and completed the details. Register for Autodeposit from the menu and add your contacts. Once completed, you can start sending e-Transfers immediately!
Interac e-Transfer is secure, with multiple layers of protection. Only notifications and instructions are sent via email or text, while the funds are transferred securely between credit unions and banks using established methods. Valley CU uses measures like encryption, secure login, and security questions to protect your transactions. Setting up Autodeposit is easy and means  no security question is needed. If you get an unexpected notification, always verify it. Be cautious of unfamiliar messages or links, and contact your us or the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre if you suspect fraud.
Depending on your bank account package, there may be a non-refundable fee when you send an Interac e-Transfer. There is no charge to receive a transfer, but other financial institutions may. Please check your account or contact us directly.
